NDA-I Exam 2012 Notification Eligibility FormsExam notification for NDA-I Exam 2012 has been published by UPSC just yesterday for admission to NDA (National Defence Academy) & NA (Naval Academy). While this blog post focuses on Eligibility & application form processes of NDA, in another blog article titled NDA exam prep material I would provide you all the study materials required to prepare for this exam - the sample papers, books, SSB Interview prep material etc.
Why this exam is called NDA (I)? Because NDA exam is held twice every year by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) - Exam (I) in mid-April and Exam (II) in mid-August. My previous blog post titled: NDA Exam – what & why? introduces you to NDA exam and why you should appear in it.

With the world becoming tech savvy, the Institute realized that there was a need to adopt advanced processes of applying and receiving applications for jobs. Since 2006 IBPS has successfully introduced online receipt of applications with intimations through email or SMS. Additionally Bilingual Applications, Photo/ Signature/ Biodata upload are possible as per client requirements. Today almost 90 percent of the applications are received in this mode and this method is successful even with rural applicants. An advantage of technology is that a huge number of candidates can appear for the testing process irrespective of distance. IBPS also makes wide application of technology in HR interventions.
